Pula is three thousand years ago. Pula was originally Nesakton and was conquered by the Romans in 177 BCNOK Pula was the Roman trade and naval station. Pula is the sixth largest surviving amphitheater in the world of that time, with room for no less than 23,000 spectators. Pula is also a forum with the temple of Augustus from 30 BC. Pula has attractions like the casino and the archaeological museum. In late August Pula Film Festival held each year. Visitors can go island hopping to the Brijuni Islands, or visit the national parks around.
Pula Airport is located seven miles outside the city center.
