Rovinj is located 25 kilometers northwest of Pula , on an island connected to the mainland on the west coast of Istria.14,000 inhabitants live in Rovinj. From here there are daily ferry to Venice .It takes two hours at the crossing.
Artist streets of Grisi, the Rovinj's Montmartre. They are located in the old town with buildings from the 1500s. It has many narrow streets, and there is also St. Euphemia Cathedral from 1736. It has a 57 meter high bell tower, situated on a hill at the edge of the peninsula. Rovinj has attractions such as botanical gardens and aquariums. On the market Valdibora visitors can get fresh fish, truffles and olive oil. Visitors can also go on bike trips, rock climbing and off-center. Rovinj is a good starting point for excursions to Brijuni islands and the Istrian peninsula.
Pula Airport is approx. 30 kilometers south of Rovinj.
