Zadar is located in the northern part of Dalmatia, 200 kilometers southwest of Zagreb .Zadar is located at Zadarkanalen between the mainland and Uljan. The port town has 70,000 inhabitants. Here is the ferry to Croatian Dubrovnik and Rijeka , Italian Ancona, and hydrofoils to the Dalmatia region.
Old Town has 34 ancient churches and is located on a peninsula. All churches have a rich history. Zadar is known for its liqueur factory that produces maraschino.The waterfalls in Plitvice National Park is located near Zadar. The city has more cafes. Visitors can swim in the clear water or rent a boat here.
Zadar Airport is located in Zemunik Donji eight kilometers from the center.
