Hørsholm is a city with approx. 33,000 inhabitants (2009), located in the Capital Region of Sealand - 25 km north of Copenhagen .

The main attraction of the municipality is the former royal summer residence Hirschholm Slot from the 1730's, which admittedly was demolished in 1810, but Castle Haven around still bear the old Baroque garden. Today, the whitewashed neoclassical Hørsholm Church from 1823 there. Other sights in Hørsholm Municipality is Hørsholm EGN Museum with archaeological and historical collections from the city and region, Cultural Drum - which hosts concerts and theater performances - as well as hunting and Skovbrugsmuseet.
