Jersey miniguide
Jersey is an island in the English Channel which is located just off the coast of Normandy in northern France .This is the largest and southernmost of the Channel Islands and is subject to the UK. The largest town in Jersey called St. Helier, the island has a population of over 91 000 (2009). French is the official language, but virtually the entire population speaks English.
The island has had a community of over 1000 years and draws holidaymakers because of the warm climate. Jersey deadlines with a beautiful scenery with many flowers and beautiful beaches. Here is something for everyone, both historic castles and museums, including a maritime museum and the Historical Museum Jersey Museum. Activities for the whole family can be a zoo, Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and amusement park aMaizin! Maze and Adventure Park. Creepy Valley Activity Centre offers, among other things, laser combat and climbing.
Jersey Airport is located in St. Peter, who is about. 7 km northwest of St. Helier.
