Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport (TLL) is located 4 km from Tallinn , and is the largest airport in Estonia . An airport shuttle runs between the airport and the center of Tallinn. The airport has a good selection of rental car companies, both the Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Avis, National and Sixt are represented here.
In 2009, 1,346,236 passengers visited Tallinn Airport. It is headquarters for the national airline Estonian Air. Between 2006 and 2008 went through the airport a major renewal project which has made it a modern and comfortable airport.
Tallinn Airport is advertising on its website to be the first airport in the world that offer free wireless Internet access throughout their area. In addition to duty-free shop, the airport has a couple of interesting specialty shops, one is "Cigar Lounge" and the other selling Estonian handicraft. Otherwise, there are two restaurants at the airport. Hotel Hotel Ülemiste located near the airport.
