Helsinki (Swedish: Helsingfors) is Finland's second largest city with 244,300 inhabitants (2009).It is located in the countryside Nyland (Uusimaa) on the south coast, the Gulf of Finland - approx. 20 km west of the capital Helsinki .The city is very specifically organized, in that it does not have any major city. The buildings are spread over a larger area, which includes seven centers and 55 urban districts.
