Cork Airport (ORK) is located 8 km south of Cork and is one of three main airports in Ireland .It is possible to get between the airport and Cork by train and bus. Several companies, such as 353 car rental, Alamo, National, Avis, Budget and Hertz offers car rental.
In 2009 was 2.8 million passengers visited Cork Airport. A new terminal opened in 2006. From the airport, a journey of around 20 different international destinations in Europe. It is served by many budget airlines, and is the base for Aer Arann, Aer Lingus, Aer Lingus and Ryanair Regional.
The airport has free internet, six different cafes and bars and good shopping. Just next to the terminal is a hairdresser, Hair Port. They will pay a little extra to gain access to the Jack Lynch Departure Lounge, a comfortable place for both relaxation and work. The Cork International Airport Hotel is located near the terminal.
