Killarney is a town in southwestern Ireland .It is located on the Iveragh peninsula near Dingle Peninsula and the Skellig Michael Island. Killarney Lakes of Killarney is located on the northern latitude in Killarney National Park. Approx. 30,000 residents living in Killarney.
Killarney is one of Ireland's biggest tourist attractions. In the Killarney National Park is a monastery that was established in the 600s by St. Finian. The National Park was Ireland's first, and was created in 1932. There are species such as deer. The city and its surroundings are home to St. Mary Cathedral, Ross Castle, Muckross Abbey, Torc waterfalls and Gap of Dunloe. Ross Castle comes from the 1500s, and is open to the public. The Catholic Cathedral in Kilkenny from 1855 will be one of the most beautiful churches, designed by AW Pugin. In 2007 won the Killarney price of the best preserved city.
Kerry Airport is located one kilometer northeast of Killarney.
