Agropoli miniguide
Agropoli is an Italian coastal town that belongs to the province of Salerno. The city and the province is located in the region Campania, located in the west of Italy's southern part. Agropoli bordering the Tyrrhenian Sea which is part of the Mediterranean Sea between the Italian mainland and Sardinia , and the population of Agropoli was estimated at just over 20 000 in 2004.
Many travel to Agropoli because of the beautiful seaside location and good climate. Along the coastline there is a natural harbor, a marina and attractive beaches that lead into the green sea. The city is a historic district with houses and streets that extends back to the 7th century and old buildings such as the ruins of the monastery of San Francesco. If one pays a visit to the local bookshop, you can see the findings derived from the Roman era, and the volcano Vesuvius is about. 100 km north of Agropoli.
The nearest airport is Salerno Costa d'Amalfi Airport which is located about 40 km north of Agropoli.
