Bari is located in southern Italy on the Adriatic Sea, east of Naples .Bari is the capital of the region of Puglia, and has 322,000 inhabitants (2008). Bari is Italy's largest city on the Adriatic Sea and is a port city.Here is the car ferry to Croatian Dubrovnik and Bar.
The city which in Roman times was called barium, has retained its medieval structure. Bari has many historic buildings and sites. In the old town città vecchia, which was the center of Roman times, is the chic bars and restaurants.
