Malaga Airport (AGP), also known as Pablo Ruiz Picasso Airport, located 8 km southwest of Malaga and 5 km north of Torremolinos.There are both trains and buses between the airport and Malaga. There are 10 different car companies at the airport which is located at Terminal 2 and 3: National Ates, Record, Sixt, Auriga, Autos Lido, Avis, Hertz, Solmar, Goldcar Europe and Europcar.
11,622,443 passengers visited Malaga Airport in 2009 as the 4th largest airport in Spain .It is the headquarters of Andalus Lineas Aereas, Air Berlin and Ryanair. From Malaga there are routes to 60 different countries and just under 90 different destinations. The most trafficked destinations are London , Dublin and Manchester .A brand new Terminal 3 has just opened.
Malaga Airport has a good selection of food and beverage outlets and shops. Other amenities include a pharmacy, bank, post office, internet, medical center, exhibition space, travel, conference and business center, VIP lounge and an aviation museum. There are no hotels at the airport.
