Tralee is a town in the sørveslige part of the Republic of Ireland, ca. 300 km southwest of Dublin .Tralee is the administrative center for the county. Tralee was the main seat of the Earls of Desmond, and was founded in the 1300s. Tralee is also a good starting point for those wishing to visit the tourist the Ring of Kerry. Tourism is important to Tralee, and the city has many outdoor activities. The beautiful coastline with peninsulas Dingle where Brandon mountains and the Blasket Islands archipelago draws many visitors here. Blasket Islands are known for their literary and linguistic heritage, and has been uninhabited since the 1950s. On the Dingle Peninsula, there are several historical sites Ferrites Cove on the western part, and Gallarus Oratory. Tralee is famous for the annual beauty contest, “The Rose of Tralee”, a festival for women Irish descent.
