In the U.S. state of Colorado is the city of Colorado Springs, which has 380,000 inhabitants (2009).The city is located in the County El Paso County, at the foot of the mountain Pikes Peak – which is part of the world-famous mountains Rocky Mountains.
Colorado Springs is located 1,830 meters above sea level, and has beautiful scenery – which is a magnet for outdoor enthusiasts. The most visited tourist attraction is the “Garden of the Gods” – a large public park on the outskirts of town.
