Tudela belongs to the province of Navarre and has a southern location in the region of Navarre which is located in the northern part of Spain .Tudela is located on the River Ebro is Spain’s longest river, where the entire river is to be found within national borders. Tudela was founded by Muslims in the year 807 and today one can still see the buildings from the Middle Ages, especially churches. Iglesia de Magdalena and the Iglesia de San Nicolás stretches back to the 1100s, while the cathedral was erected in 1100 – and 1200’s. Museum of Tudela is an art museum housed in a building dating from 1400 – and 1500’s. Many of the old buildings located in the historic town with narrow streets and the beautiful Plaza Vieja as its center.
Zaragoza Airport is located approx. 90 km southeast of Tudela.
