Hurghada is a resort town located east of Egypt bordering the Red Sea’s western shore.It is about the same distance to Cairo as it is to the border between Egypt and Sudan. In 2008, the population of approx. 95 000, but it is only recently that the city has expanded. Previously, this was a small fishing village, but today lives in Hurghada tourism.
Red Sea has a nice, warm temperature, making it livable for the many exotic fish. The coral reefs there are a number of both amateur and professional travel here for snorkeling and diving, which is the main pursuit in the city. In addition, there are opportunities for windsurfing, fishing and sunbathing on the inviting beach. Hurghada is known for its nightlife and there are many bars and clubs to choose from. Many of the larger hotels have private beach areas, zoos and swimming pool.¨
Hurghada International Airport has flights to both Europe and domestically. The airport is located about 5 km outside the city center.
