Newcastle uopn-Tyne is a city in the county of Tyne and Wear and the city is located northeast of England. County named after the rivers Tyne and Wear which flows in the area and the city was named 1000’s, when the Normans built a castle here. The River Tyne flows through Newcastle and the city is famous for the coal industry which started in the 1200s. The population of Newcastle is located at more than 270 000 (2008).
