Saint-Tropez is a town in southern France, on the French Riviera.Saint-Tropez is located 75 kilometers southwest of the film city of Cannes in Provence-Alpes-Côtes-d’Azur. The city is located in the department of Var. Here live 5,800 inhabitants.

Saint-Tropez is famous for its beautiful beaches and harbor for sailboats. Here comes the famous movie stars every year.   The town hosts the festival Fete de la exploits in May. This tradition goes back to the 1500s, and involves salute, Provencal song and dance. Among the city’s beaches is Plage des Granier, Plage des Cannebiers and Plage de la Moutte worth a visit, in addition to the beaches of Pampelonne-Ramatuelle. Saint-Tropez has a great art collection at the Musée de l’Annonciade, where visitors can see works by Matisse, among other things The Maritime Museum is good evidence 2 World War II. In October there will be racing every year, and there is a market on the Place aux Herbes.

The nearest airport is Toulon-Hyeres, 45 miles south of Saint-Tropez.
