I will definitely book here again. The customer representatives in Gran Canaria were friendly. No fuel rip off when renting through Europcar.

We rented a car at Franfurt Airport through Europcar. The process of getting the car was quick and easy. The price was much lower than booking directly through Europcar.

The rates are similar to that of other websites, however we prefer renting on this website as we can choose which company to hire from ourselves.

Car rental Alghero

Alghero belongs to the province of Sassari and located in the northwest of the island of Sardinia which is also an Italian region. The town is a fishing port located on the west coast and out into the Mediterranean Sea, ca. 230 km south of Alghero is the regional capital, Cagliari. The population was in 2009 at just over 40 000 and the number has dropped by about half since the beginning of the 1900s. Alghero was founded in 1102, but the area has been inhabited for over 6000 years.

Many tourists travel to Alghero on the basis of historical sites, beautiful beaches and unique diving opportunities. The old town is surrounded by a wall and characterized by narrow pedestrian streets. There are especially many old churches, including St. Francis, which was begun in the 1300s and the city’s cathedral from the 1500s. Tourists and divers from around the world prefer to Alghero because of the many caves, and Nereo Cave is probably the most famous underwater cave in the Mediterranean.

Alghero Airport offers international flights and is approx. 8 km outside the city.
