The coastal town of Larvik (23,600 inhabitants in 2007) is located in southeastern Norway , near Larvik Fjord (which flows into the Skagerrak), and belongs to the county of Vestfold.Larvik the Municipal Court in 1671, and the main industry was the time the timber trade, shipbuilding and shipping.Later in the 1930s, the city got a versatile industrial growth.

The city’s oldest buildings is at Tollerodden – and there are several historic tourist attractions.
