Old Town is one of Neuchâtel’s biggest tourist attractions – with its steep, winding streets and alleys, shops and restaurants.Church of Notre Dame, which was built between 1100 – 1200’s are also worth a visit as well as the castle from the 1100s to the nearby tower “Tour des Prisons.” The latter are the remains of a medieval bastion, which offers a panoramic view over the city.

Other city sights include “Centre Dürrenmatt” – an exhibition of works by the Swiss writer, painter and artist Friedrich Dürrenmatt.
