We rented a car at Franfurt Airport through Europcar. The process of getting the car was quick and easy. The price was much lower than booking directly through Europcar.

The rates are similar to that of other websites, however we prefer renting on this website as we can choose which company to hire from ourselves.

Hanover was founded on the 900’s, and in the Altstadt – Old Town – are several historical sites, including a number of medieval buildings.

Some of the most popular tourist attractions is the “Landesmuseum Hanover” (state museum with exhibits of art, archeology and ethnology), “Sprengel Museum Hanover” (art museum with works from the 1900s), Operahaus from 1845, the old city hall from the 1500s, Marktkirche (from the 1300s), the new town hall from 1913 with its beautiful gardens, the Palace Landes Trost from 1573 – as well as both a botanical and a zoological garden.

In summer there is good swimming at the artificial lake Maschsee – with beautiful sandy beach and opportunities for water sports.
