Constance on Lake Constance in southern Germany , specifically in the state of Baden-Wurttemberg – the Swiss border.The town has 82,600 inhabitants (2008), and is an important transport hub and tourist center. It is located in scenic surroundings between Obersee and Untersee, and in the “Altstadt” – Old Town – there are many historical buildings.
