Jerez de la Frontera is very famous for producing sherry, and it is claimed that this wine can only be called sherry if it is produced here. There are opportunities for the sherry-tasting in the city each summer, held the International Exhibition of Noble Wines, a wine festival. The area is also famous for breeding horses with Spanish, Arabic and English blood, and it held a horse market in May. Alcazar is a Moorish fortress from the 1000’s, while Atalaya Watch Museum has the largest clock collection in Europe.
