Nakskov is a town with 13,886 inhabitants (2009), which is situated directly by Nakskov Fjord on the west coast of the southern Danish island of Lolland – Region Sjælland. The distance to Copenhagen is about. 160 km.
The city has a long history, and it has had town rights since 1266.
