Protaras is predominantly a tourist resort under the Paralimni Municipality in Cyprus. Before the city was formed, the old city called Leukolia occupied the region. Another interesting place you can visit in Protaras is the Sirena Bay if you are looking for a place to show off your diving skills. Other airports that are close to Protaras include the Larnaca International Airport, Paphos International Airport, Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport and so on.
